Innovative Products and Equipment of Lowell is ISO 9001: 2001 Certified

INNOVATIVE Products and Equipment, Inc., a custom automation and product development company based in Lowell, MA announced today that their dedication to quality management has earned them company-wide ISO 9001: 2001 certification. ISO 9001 sets standard requirements for quality assurance in business processes – from design and development to production, installation and servicing.

Established to help enhance the international trading process and provide a uniform standard of excellence, ISO helps companies overcome "technical barriers to trade" through international standardization. Receiving and maintaining ISO certification requires continual process improvement aimed at achieving total customer satisfaction.

The ISO standards are based on quality management principles surrounding customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, systems approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision-making and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
