Pad Printers
The TDM 12K R2 and the TDM 16K R2 are fully
automatic plants designed for pad printing onto the
top surface of soft drink bottle caps. Caps that are
irregular concave, convex and flat can all be
printed without compromise. Modern technology has
been extremely concentrated into these compact
maneuverable machines that combine low cost cliché
and high production rates. The TDM 16K R2 acts as
big brother to the TDM 12K R2. Though it carries the
same features as the 12K, it is different in that it
has two print heads instead of just one, thereby
yielding more output.
Both models can print from one to four colors for
unlimited graphic effects. A hermetic sealed ink
system allows for low emission, low maintenance and
environmentally friendly surroundings. Featuring the
new high precision, numerically controlled Logica
mi.micro print head and the new TRCN-04 numerically
controlled 36 station rotary table —with a rotation
accuracy of +- 0.02 mm—both models are capable of
single, double, triple and quadruple indexes. In
addition, they have the ability to use low cost
photo polymer cliché plates as well as the
conventional 10 mm and 0.5 mm steel plates. Specific
tooling enables easy reference for etching of
clichés and precise print registration.
The TDM 12K R2 and the TDM 16K R2 allow for quick
and simple changeover time in just a matter of
minutes. They can be mounted on wheels, making each
complete system maneuverable to production location.
They also have stainless steel hopper and elevator
supplies that are fully integrated to the
centrifugal bowl feeder.
